I looked at the link to the ESL forum, and I think you misinterpreted some of the responses (not to say that there some truly idiotic ones posted). While I think the suggestion that it should only be white guys and Korean women was to be taken seriously, I do think sexist that they are only interested in the perspective of young, attractive foreign women. demeaning for the women, as they are often presented more as products than people. They are all dressed identically, lined up in rows, and asked about silly things. The show is edited extensively so as not to offend its Korean viewers with the more serious or controversial responses. And then there are the nameless, voiceless, identical Korean women. They just sit to the side in a big group, laugh occasionally... some might even have the chance to make a brief comment, but for the most I have no idea why even there. Ultimately, the show is just there to make money by giving viewers what they want- sexy women saying good things about Korea.Of course almost every TV show in the world is just out to make money by making people feel good, so you really take them too seriously.
